Laminated particleboard is a widely used building material in the medium price segment. In restroom design, it is used as a structural element of toilet partitions and stalls.

The main distinguishable properties of this material include resistance to bending, deformations and moisture impact. Particleboard is a three-layer board manufactured from hot-pressed wood chips using synthetic binding adhesives. Its core layer consists of larger-fraction chips, whereas the outer layers are made from micro-particles. The surface is smooth, which means that it can be coated with melamine resin-impregnated paper to protect particleboard against destructive external impact.

KVK-Bud restroom partitions are filled with 25 mm-thick Eurodecor laminated particleboard manufactured by Egger, Austria. You can use for them a mortise lock and lever handle from Abloy, Finland and attachable hardware made by Siso, Denmark. The frame consists of anodized aluminum profile that could be painted in any RAL color of your choice.

The interior style is also not the least important factor when designing a restroom.
